Hello, my name is Aprille and I am a cat loving, veggie gardening, home cooking, art loving Texas based yoga guide who has a deep passion for exploring yoga and meditation.
More than 16 years ago I found yoga, or better yet - yoga found me. Since that day, yoga has brought so much into my life - from physical health to a more compassionate view of myself and the world around me to a deeper sense of peace. I didn't begin yoga flexible and I have no background in gymnastics or dance - I was an office worker for many years and a work from home mom (just like many of you). When I began, I couldn't touch my toes, I couldn't sit still for even 3 breaths or even take a full breath, and I struggled with EVERY single pose. But, what I found was that with time, I was stronger, quieter, more flexible, more forgiving, more open, more kind, more at peace. I became more body aware and more accepting of myself and others. I became a better mother, wife, and human being with yoga in my life. Yoga also brought me a strong supportive community. THIS is what I aspire to offer you.
Yoga, for me, is about self-awareness, self-care, self-healing.
Yoga is nourishing, replenishing, uplifting. Yoga is healing - physically and emotionally.
Yoga and meditation can help ground you and bring balance to your daily life - physically and emotionally - anytime, anywhere. Yoga can reconnect you to yourself and the world around you - uplift and inspire you.

What am I known for? Intuitive and creative sequencing, in depth understanding of the body, compassionate and peaceful approach to life, personal attention to each and every detail of a practice, connection to what happens in REAL people's lives, and lots and lots of research and continuing education. I have over 1000 hours of extensive training, 15+ years of yoga experience, and more than 2000 hours of teaching.
But most importantly - I CARE ABOUT YOU. I am here to support you in YOUR practice. My offering to you - community, a caring and supportive environment, a way to develop your self-awareness, and deeply nourishing practices to enhance your life/health and help you reconnect with yourself and the world around you.
