What is Wintering? It is the practice of turning in, practicing more self care, taking time to reflect and process, spending more time alone. Wintering is what many plants and animals do during the colder, darker months of the year - helping them rest deeply to prepare for what is to come. We too need to practice Wintering, especially with our fast paced, 24/7 lives.
Join me for this very special Wintering Mini Workshop session where we will move softly to unwind tension, balance our breath with pranayama, set up our healing "rest nest" and settle in for an extended Yoga Nidra session. Afterwards we will journal for awhile with journal prompts directly related to exploring how you can use Wintering in your own life.
Props: Soft blankets, pillows, cushions, eye pillow, comfortable clothing - anything and everything that will make you feel supported, loved and deeply cared for. Setup: candles, pen, journal/paper, soft lights, space to spread out and take up space with your body.
