Today's practice is particularly special given the timing of this post. I know that years have passed but the memory of 9/11 still makes my breath stick in my throat, my heart beat faster and my eyes well up with tears.
Stress is always there in our lives - both good and bad - and we cannot get rid of it. But, we can learn management and Restorative yoga is one of the best methods I know to help the body and mind manage stress and it's effects. By being fully supported in long held Restorative Yoga postures where you breath and release, you can help reduce the negative impact stress can have on your overall health and wellness. This practice is focused on all the areas that hold particular tension - our hips, our backs, our chest and our shoulders. Join me - release, relax and breathe. And to all of you who out there who suffer from stress, anxiety and panic attacks - I dedicate this class (http://bit.ly/Restorative4StressMgmt) to you and I hope it helps in some small way! Bless you and may you find healing and peace.
